Hey guys! Today, I'm letting Samantha take over my blog and my Things I learned in College series! This wonderful girl is over in ITALY right now! Crazy right! I'm insanely jealous!

Ok, here she is!

Hey y'all!  I'm Samantha, and I blog over at Life is But a Stream of Thoughts.  I met Sabra through a Hello Box match, and she's just the sweetest!  She asked me to do a guest post for her, and of course I said yes!  So here I am to let you in on some things that I've learned in college.  Although hers have been on one topic and have been detailed, I lack focus.

Here are some of the lessons I've learned in college so far:

1. Go to every sporting event possible.  It's a great way to show your school spirit.  Oh, and they're free!  Everything free is great.

2. Join clubs!  You might think that that added time commitment will just be too stressful, but just be careful.  If you can balance it correctly, it will actually help with stress.  I joined a sorority and a club that volunteers with animals.  I love them both!

3. There will be days where you are indestructible.  There will also be days where this is the only victory...  Sometimes the small victories are the best.

4. Don't rely on plans.  Or make studying your only plan.  This beach trip was something we decided on the night before, and I had an exam coming up two days after.  I still went, and managed to get a B on my exam.  And ended up with an A- in the class.  And this was one of my favorite days of my sophomore year.

5. Do things you never saw yourself doing.  When my roommate suggested we participated in Holi Moli, I thought she was crazy.  Throwing colored powder all over my clothes?  No thanks!  But it was an experience I will always remember, and I can't wait to do it again!

6. Monograms.  Yes, college taught me to love monograms.  They can be seen on at least a thousand girls every day on my campus.  And now I am obsessed.  Same goes for Lilly Pulitzer and chevron.
